why does my cpu almost max out or actually max out when playing far cry 3

hello all im having difficulties understanding as to why every time i play far cry 3 even in lower resolutions it hits 83 in a matter of seconds then if i move areas it maxes out right away i use an i5 4690k @4.66ghz any help would be appreciated

oranges? ummm like utilization and i dont mind it using resources but it maxes out when i move and i try multi tasking but it gets extremely laggy so i thought id ask seeing as thats what the site is for???

Information is a good thing.

You may have to limit the game in some fashion if you wish to do other things while playing games. Vsync is good for this if there is an option.

does playing it in windowed mode help or would it increase strain cuz i have an old q8300 and it never got that high on this game so i was thinking it a little odd

yea i played far cry 4 with almost no trouble at 1080p
as for far cry 3 i went from 1080 to 900 to 720 did not make anything much better it made my gpu work less but cpu stayed the same
