New build components are:
Asus Sabretooth Z97 Mk 1 Motherboard;
Intel i5 4590 CPU;
Corsair Hydro H75 CPU Cooler; and
Corsair CMZ32GX3M41866C10 RAM.

We salvaged the old computers working Asus Strix GTX960-DC2- 4GD5 graphics card.

The build was planned and done methodically identifying which connectors went onto which pin or into which socket: all power leads connected. Powered up the computer for the first time (as per the user manual) and, within a couple of seconds, the graphic card fans stopped turning - no monitor output.

Has anyone had experience of this before?

Cann't remember the make, but the PSU is rated at 750 Watts, distance holders are in, power cables are all in, that is, motherboards 24 & 8 pin + 8 pin to graphics card.

Also, the case came without system speaker so no 'beep's' to indicate any fault detected. All POST status LEDs are out except the DRAM, which after powering down, checked and is secure, remains lit - potential issue?
