I would like some help on how to build a PC that can run modern games. The end goal is a pc that can run gta 5 maybe medium-high settings at 50+ fps. As of right now i do not have a set price range except just to keep it as low as possible. I greatly appreciate any assistance.

Solution
Should get well over 50 fps on modern games, under 600 dollars, and if you want a mouse/keyboard/headphones added just say so.

Here's what I would consider to be a decent mid-range system that should allow you to play most, if not all games at reasonable graphic levels and FPS:

If im understanding this build i get more storage space, a faster processor, and above all its more than a 100$ cheaper? If this is correct i believe this to be the best solution. Unless there is something im just not seeing from the other one that makes it stand out. Thank you very much, this will likely be my future pc.

Unfortunately, you cannot compare processor speeds between AMD and Intel anymore. The instruction sets are so completely different that a 3.2GHz Intel Processor will out-perform a 4.2 GHz AMD processor. You really need to check the benchmark scores to compare the two.

User Benchmark FX-4350 vs I5-4460
CPU Boss FX-4350 vs I5-4460
Game Debate FX-4350 vs I5-4460
CPU Monkey FX-4350 vs I5-4460

All four of these show the Intel Core I5-4460 as the better performer (hence the cost). That's not to say there's anything wrong with the FX-4350. It's just not something I'd recommend unless you were really limited on budget (which you did not provide).

I see, hmm. I just thought that the ghz was what made the cpu. I didn't know that brands differed performance that greatly. Its not that money is a problem, it was just due to my ignorance i thought the other one was ultimately a better deal for the cost. Thank you, for helping me.

Also with the cpu, the games you suggested are mostly gpu dependent, so cpu doesn't matter as much. It is significantly cheaper, I can gurantee that you will get well over 50 fps with that build on most modern games (cod, skyrim, games like that)
