For my new build, I will be getting the i7 5820k CPU, so I am looking for a compatible motherboard to go along with it.

Some key details;
* Ram - Anything from 8GB total
* Not looking to overclock at all
* Size - ATX
* Has multiple USB 3.0/3.1 ports
* Compatible with the XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation GPU (Unless there is a better GPU for under £200)
* SLI compatible
* And my limit is £200

If there is anything else that I have forgotten, then please go ahead and ask me.

Solution
What is the purpose of the build? As in what do you want to do with it? If gaming that is a big expensive slowish CPU if you don't oc, and if gaming that is a pretty weak gpu to match with an expensive cpu

The purpose of the machine will be for full on gaming

I chose the GPU specifically because it's stats looked better than its Nvidea counterpart.
And for the CPU, I have no idea whats good and isn't without overclocking, I just saw that it has 6 cores and since its an i7, it should be powerful enough at its default setting to perform optimally,
So what do you recommend?
I have a Partspicker page if you wish to see everything that I have selected so far

$863 for just CPU boad memory, CPU cooler and video card you mentioned http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tdz3xr

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ntqvMp "faster" in most cases than the processor you picked, $150 cheaper... and I got a r9 390 instead of the 280x I know this is all in $ not pounds but a similar build will still be cheaper and faster in nearly all cases... Heck you could have a 390x for about the same money as the other build

Thank you for these suggested bulds.
But, and I dont mean to complain, I would like to ask for some modifications.
Firstly, these are my budgets,
* CPU - £300
* GPU - £300
* Mobo - £150
* RAM - £100
* PSU - £150
* CPU Cooler - I'm using the Cooler Master Hyper evo, its cheap and has great reviews

This is my current setup - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/9t8VNG

So, I would like my GPU to be a Geforce. And I would also want a processor that is brilliant without the need for overclocking.

Thanks

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/G36wBm this cpu is faster than the one you have listed, went under budget on cpu, mobo, and memory, which left you more than enough to upgrade to a gtx980 and still save over your build. the xeon is just an i7 that is made without onboard graphics, can't be overclocked but you've said multiple times you don't want to. only thing I didn't add was storage I'll let you decide what uw ant to do there.

I already knew that the Xeon is a CPU used mainly for servers, but by comparing it to the i7-4790k, the i7 is much better for gaming and multi-tasking.

Can I have your opinion?

Basically it's 4 ghz vs 4.4 is all the difference. Those benchmarks you are seeing are mostly overclocked 4790ks which you said you didn't want to do. Also the better gpu with the money saved by going with the xeon will give you more frames in 90% of games that exist. Only exception would be newer single core games that are CPU bound (probably 90% better by my rig would be a low estimate)
