I had already purchased Corsair VS Series VS 550w with 85% efficiency but some power supply calculator saying 600w (newegg) and some saying 450w for my system which is making me confuse that 550w may not be suffcient enough. Please guide me should i get 650w power supply or 550w will be sufficient? since i will have to resell my 550w power supply to someone.

My new gaming desktop pc configuration is as follows, please advice how much power supply should i use for my pc?
Intel core i5 6500 processor
Asus z170 progaming motherboard
8 GB DDR5 RAM
MSI GeForce GTX 970 OC 4GB Graphics Card
7200 rpm Seagate barrucuda hard disk
3 fans installed in pc case...
Please help :??:

Your current PSU is enough for that rig. It isn't a particularly good PSU, but it will get the job done.

If you're really worred about it and want a suggestion for an upgrade this would be a fantastic choice:

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $59.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
