FX-6300 overclock help

Solution
^The Cryorig h7 is an excellent cooler. I have one of those on my Fx6300 OC'ed to 4.3 comfortably.

You'll also need a better PSU, http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Your mobo looks like it has little to no heatsink on VRM. Too much voltage will likely damage that mobo.

You won't benefit much from OC'ing the Fx 6300 because your r7 250 is the bottleneck hardware. For OC to be more noticeable in fps, you'll need a 280x/960/290/970.

After having a decent cooler and PSU (remember these things can be carried over to your next computer, if they are good quality), and you still want to OC, then follow this guide.

Don't overclock on the power supply that came with the computer. I advise you to look into a tier 1-3 psu from here. Also look into a cooler such as the Cryorig H7 or the Evo 212 -- stock coolers are not recommended for overclocking. Also your motherboard may not be that great for ocing as well, my mobo died after about a year of just gaming (no ocing) from a pre built pc from iBuyPower.

Funny you say that because you obvisouly don't pay attention to specs. I have a GTX 680 Sig 2 OC'ed - and a 700W PSU, so don't assume what I have from later post.

Glad to help, bud. As a literate person, I am sure your origin post says "My PSU 400W" and your link takes us to a iBUYPower PC, which is known for using sub par mobos and PSUs.

Either way, a 700w PSU doesn't entail that it is quality PSU. There is a difference between quality and adequate power. Good luck to you on your overclocking quest.
