so i have an FX-6300 and i want to overclock it, My current mobo is an asus m5a78l-m usb 3.0 and im thinking of getting a new bord maybe an 970 chip set. Right now i can buy a coolermaster 212 evo. The reason i got the asus mobo is because a good friend sold me his case and power supply with all 5 case fan slots having fans on them. the case is a corsair 350D and with it came an nzxt psu its 80+ bronze 550watt all this for $30. So what im thinking is i can buy a new mobo case and i still have to buy the 212 evo or i can buy the 212 evo an nzxt sentry fan control hud heat sinks for my mobo and overclock my cpu tp 4 or 4.3 max.

System spec
    Cpu: fx 6300 @ stock
      mobo: asus m5a78l-m usb 3.0
GPU: 960 FTW 2GB<- got this from newegg for $160
          Ram: 8GB of hyper x savage 4x2

Yes, you should get a board that is designed for OC'ing. Your Asus is a good board, but not designed for serious OC'ing. Needs better phase power and heat sinks on the VRMs. Probably contains other components that aren't designed for the stress of higher freqs. and voltages, too.
