Hi I'm upgrading my computer HD to handle 4K editing... At the moment I only have about $200

My choice is either a 500GB SSD

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?sdtid=8214769&SID=0c0cd294844c11e59d10d222f81a6a750000&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16820147373&cm_sp=

Or

A 4TB SSHD

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FQH7MQ2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Which would give the most utility for the price?

Im strongly leaning toward the 4TB drive

Any thoughts or advice? Thanks

Solution
It's a no contest, get the 4TB drive.

The 500GB SSD is extremely fast, but for HD video you need lots of room as well and the SSD won't cut it. The 4TB SSHD is a very good compromise between performance and storage, which is exactly what you need for what you will be doing.
