Hi All,
A month ago a friend built a new PC from some salvaged components (Motherboard, CPU, GPU) from his Alienware X51 R1. Just a few hours ago, 'Matrix style GPU Artifacts' started to appear on any dark display his DVI monitor showed.
I'd like to think it's either his GPU or DVI cable, but can anyone provide some insight to this problem? Is it common? General causes and solution?
