How to set up Dongle with Router

I have a working dongle for 4g which works in my laptop well. I want to plug the dongle directly into my Belkin ac1200 router so that l have Wifi & so l can plug into my powerlines to l get ethernet around my house. Can anyone help with the settings which l can access thru the router directly to the Belkin set up page?

The router needs to have feature to support mobile broandband modems and yours does not. Belkin tends to make very basic routers for people who want cheap and simple.

Even on routers that do support these dongles you need to very carefully look through the compatibility lists. Not all are supported and some are supported for only certain ISP.
