Hi...i have windows XP SP3 , and i noticed since last week my laptop has these really weird startup delays...when i open my laptop before the "welcome"message that afters goes to the desktop , the screen goes black showing only my mouse pointer in the middle and it stays like that for like 5mins~..also , after my wallpaper shows and the explorer.exe takes also a while to start.....any suggestions ?
And my system is FULLY configured for best performance...i have literally no custom startup programs on msconfig...i also defragmented my pc recently..? Not sure if that's the cause of this situation...
