Hey guys I recently got a EVGA GTX 950 and when I first tried to install the drivers for it I resulted in a black screen. So i rebooted my PC and manually uninstalled all things NVIDIA from my computer. I went to the nvidia website and installed GeForce Experience now heres the issue. All GeForce Experience does is this: https://gyazo.com/ff26d2c6a08c88d1275e1c7ab664fc85
Then it asks me to restart. So i restart look in device manager it says my GTX 950 is there and my computer shows my Onboard graphics is disabled I try to switch my display to the option the video card is connected to and its nothing but a black screen... Any help would be greatly appreciated...

EDIT: I just tried doing custom install and selected clean install, i open GeForce Experience again and its asking me to download the driver again... How do I get out of this loop of constantly restarting my PC.... :(

so I guess you don't really know if the psu or something with the motherboard caused the old card to fail ?? or when the old card failed it did not damage something that now may cause the new card not to work properly ?

anyway to test your new card in another computer to see if it does the same or works in it just fine ??

ok maybe take your new card to him as well just to see ??

I would remove the card from the slot and wipe the golden fingers with a soft rag and reseat it back in the slot [I like to do it 2 or 3 tims to ''scratch'' in good contact and then be sure the psu plugs are in all the way properly

heres a evga rep to contact here at toms [Send private message ] and get him here to try to help

I fixed my issue, what I did was re-enabled my onboard graphics and disabled my GTX 950 via device manager, restarted my PC went back into device manager enabled my GTX 950 switched to HDMI 1 which is where my GTX 950 was plugged in no black screen displayed I opened GeForce Experience and it says my drivers are up to date. Thank you for the assistance junkeymonkey. :)
