Recently when I tried to update my Nvidia drivers again, to my surprise it failed. I have a GTX970 card and Windows 10.
I have tried various fixes and work arounds which I will list below.
I tried installing it with the downloaded .exe instead of with GeForce Experience.
I tried installing it through device manager, and then installing the .exe for PhysX etc.
I tried disabling antivirus and firewalls.
I tried reinstalling my OS, which worked at first, I could install the driver, but now trying to update it fails again.
Does anyone have any other suggestions of what could be the cause of this? It's really annoying, after the failed install, all I can do is a system restore to get the old driver back and working, because that one also won't install afterwards.
