Would your monitor display properly if plugged into your GPU with integrated graphics off?

So let's just say that for whatever reason, someone disabled Intel integrated graphics while their monitor was connected to their motherboard and got a black screen.
If they got a VGA to DVI adapter and plugged their old monitor into their GPU, would it still display properly?

As your statement

"So let's just say that for whatever reason, someone disabled Intel integrated graphics while their monitor was connected to their motherboard and got a black screen."

Yeah of the screen will go black and you will not be able to see anything even if you restart your computer because the intergrated graphics are disabled. (If the monitors are connected to the motherboard graphics) to get it working you will have to go to safemode or restore.

If you have a gpu card connected and if the monitors are connected to the gpu then nothing will happen even if you disable intergrated graphics.
