New to PC gaming and need feedback on my first build.

GPU: 7870 LE XT MYST edition (older GPU)
RAM: G Skill Ripjaws X series(2×4 gb) DDR3 240 pin
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
Power supply: EVGA 500w (Bronze Certified)
Storage: Western Digital WD Green
Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER

Build would be mainly for gaming, I don't plan on streaming or recording game play. I hope to play games at medium-high settings. Range is around $500 not including peripherals. If you have any perephrial suggestions please share. Thanks!!
