Crossfire or newer card?

Currently I have an ASUS AMD R9 270x graphics card. I was considering buying a newer model, the AMD R9 390.

Would it be wiser to get another R9 270x and crossfire, or would it be better to get a R9 390?

If you need to buy now, R9 390.

If you are willing to wait another 5 to 8 months, for the same money you would spend today, you would be able to get roughly 65% faster card, 8GB HBM2 memory on most cards, much lower power consumption, and better support for DirectX 12 in Windows 10.

Its tough to make a choice sometimes, so I leave it to you to decide what you think is best for you.
