CSGO Extremely Choppy after Windows 10 Upgrade?

As the title says, I recently upgraded to windows 10. I installed the correct drivers for my graphics card, yet counter strike is still crazy choppy. I have notice that my CPU has been running really high on windows 10 so im sure that is the issue... I just don't know how to fix it. I thought i'd try asking about it here first, but if I cant resolve this I will probably just revert back to Windows 8.1.

My specs:
I7 4770k
Geforce GTX 780
16 GB Ram

I see no reason why with my specs, granted they aren't the best, for it to be as choppy as it is. It wasn't like this on Windows 8.1. Please someone help.

It is probably your drivers not windows. The recent nvidia drivers have been screwing up a lot of peoples gameplay atm, install the previous version and you'll be fine. This happened to my friend and this was how he fixed it.

I've noticed that Windows 10 is fairly buggy. Everyone seems to be getting different issues. I would suggest taking a look at your resource monitor and seeing what's eating your CPU up.
