Hey guys. Haven't upgraded my machine in a while but I want to play fallout 4 at highest setting without a problem. My current setup is

Processor- i5-2500k
Ram- 8gb
GPU- GTX 570

looking at maybe a gtx970 or something like that...but do you think I need to upgrade my gpu to even be able to play the game...or can I sneak by intill Black Friday playing on shittier settings. Thanks in advance for the help

750 ti and a i3 4130T played it at 42 FPS and never dropped below 30. Consoles are capped at 30 fps. so a dual core and entry level card can play it at medium 40 fps. a 570 would do the same. 970 will play it at ultra with some things turned off or on low such as stuff that don't really matter.
