Built this rig about 6 months ago, and it worked great, until I moved to a new house. I have moved computers many many times (former navy) with no problems, and this one a took extra good care of since it's the first one I actually spent some good money on.

So I set it up at the new place, plug every thing in and flip the psu switch and the green indicator on the MOBO is on and steady. Hit the power switch on the case... Nothing. No fans, no hardrives, no signal to the monitor.

I checked all the connections, reseated the gpu, memory, and power supply cables.

And I read on a similar post about shorting the PWR SW, to rule out the front panel button, got nothing. I removed the GPU and the network card, nothing.

So I guess it's down to the MOBO or the PSU right? I don't have an psu laying around to test. Any suggestions?

MOBO: MSA99FX PRO R2.0
PSU: CX750M

I don't believe I have an internal speaker installed, so I will try to got and find one today.

I'd be willing to bet its your Corsair CX power supply. They are a low quality power supply - I have a dead CX430 sitting in the corner of my room haunting me.
I'd replace it with a power supply from Seasonic or XFX. You can also pick a power supply from Tiers 1 and 2, or if you are on a tight budget Tier 3. But try to get the best you can afford so this doesn't happen to you again.

Thank you, just waiting for stores to open to see if I can't find any of these that I could afford. And hopefully that's it.

Really hope I don't have to order it, but I guess I will if I have to.
