Hi there,
I'm looking to build a gaming PC (I'm not upgrading, I don't currently have a pc). I don't know whether to go for a Haswell cpu (i5 4590 in this case, as I don't plan to overclock) or get one of the newer i5 6500/6600 cpu's (again, not the unlocked versions). I've read that the haswell chips are slightly better for gaming, but would the benefits of a z170 board (and ddr4 ram) give the skylake an advantage?
That's my main question, but if anyone could give any other advice about my preliminary build http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/vpHdkL , that would be great, thanks
