So I have 4 sticks of RAM here, 2 are this ram, and 2 are this ram.

I have been using all four for a total of 12GB. (for for :pt1cable:)

I am trying to overclock my 1055t on an m5a97 le r2.0, it has a noctua DH-14 attached to it and the highest I have gotten it to go for any stable amount of test time is about 3.7 GHZ.

Today, I took out the corsair memory as the PNY memory is advertised as being targeted towards overclocking and gaming.

My question is would I be better off with all 4 sticks, or would I get more performance by optimizing my PNY sticks?

Also any advice on ram timings, what "ram driving control" is and how to get the most out of this processor would be great.

Thanks

The difference from 8GB RAM to 12GB is really small and not worth it. I'd use the PNY sticks as they run at a higher clock speed and if you use them with the corsair they will all run at 1333. Avoid mixing two different brands/models of RAM.
Question: if you're using 2x8GB PNY sticks and 2x2GB Corsair sticks, doesn't that make your total RAM 20GB?
