*Got it fixed, thanks. Had to set OS power option to Balanced.
I OCed my intel i7 4790k a while back to a stable 4600 hz a while back and both the voltage(while using offset voltage) and core ratio would throttle when necessary. But somehow something got changed and I noticed that the voltage was staying constant and the cpu was constantly running at 4600.
Does anyone know what I need to do to allow the CPU frequency and the voltage to throttle down when necessary? It's on adaptive already.
