Simple question hoping for simple answers

Ok so I need a new psu because mine right now is very low (300W) I am planning on getting a GTX 970 which I heard can run pretty much anything as long as u have a solid CPU. look at the evga or xfx or seanoic power supply. the cx line is not a gaming line of power supplys. for the gpu look for the smaller two slot cards to be safe.

that computer has an i5 4460, and 8gb of ram. It could easily handle a gtx 970

the only problem i can see is the physical size of the case itself, measure it for max video card length

like this, to make sure whatever gtx 970 you buy will physically fit
