I installed everything on to the Motherboard, the GPU, CPU, Ram, and the PSU cables to try an out of the box test (probably shouldn't of to be honest) but it wouldn't start I got it to start once but then it immediately shut off afterwards and I never saw the PSU or GPU fan spin again.

I did the paper clip trick with the PSU and the fan on it never spun or anything, then I decided to connect it to another computer I had laying around and the motherboard LED lite up but the power button kept flashing orange, the fan didn't spin and nothing else happened. I've tried removing all the Ram, GPU, Wifi card and leaving only the CPU and heatsink fan in. I've even removed the CPU (probably bad idea i know!) to make sure none of the pins were damaged or anything. I made sure the 24 pin from the PSU was connected to the Mobo and the same with the 8 pin (2x4) CPU one was connected. I've also made sure the PSU is plugged into the wall and that the button was pressed!

Is there anything else I could try to get it to work? Did I screw up and is my PSU/Mobo dead? I'm pretty clueless on how to fix these sort of things so I would greatly appreciate any help you folks could give me!

Solution
The PSU fan is usually all thats needed for the PSU to turn on. Out of all the PSUs i tested only 1 needed a load to turn on and that was an old P4 design using 5v as the primary line.
