All the card really requires of the motherboard is a 16x pci-e slot and the board has one. Make sure your psu is capable of running it. Make sure it will fit in the case and the case as adequate air flow.

Well it's an Ibuypower so it's probably a cheapy. You'll need to open thwith case and look at the sticker on the psu to get make and model. Ms7641 is for the mothetboard.

That's definitely not a 500w psu it's an extremely poor quality unit and will not power a 970. Even trying it could dage the system. It needs to be replaced. You want a tier 1 or 2 unit of 500w or larger.
