Monitor is at 64hz when it should be at 60hz, and GTX 970 is not being detected and being shown as Microsoft Basic Display Ada

Solution
System Specs are

AMD A10 6700

MSI 7778 FM2 Motherboard

GTX 970 GIGABYTE

16GB DDR3 1600MHZ

and a 2TB Seagate Barracuda

All drivers where up to date, installed them from Geforce Experience the day before, it seems that uninstalling displayfusion and restarting my PC has fixed it

System specs + monitor and os information please.

Microsoft installs generic graphic adapter drivers to get you going and at least see at a decent resolution, its terrible trying to navigate in an 800^600 screen, so can't rely on that only, be a good idea to go to Nvidia's website and get driver for your gpu. Do a clean install from Nvidia's custom install option to be sure to wipe out any existing old drivers Microsoft installed..
