Hello ! ( i apologize my english beforehand )

I have a gaming computer with i7-4790k & GTX 970 and Laptop with i7-3610QM & gt640.
My internet connection is 100/5M ( cable internet) and phones 4g is 50/15M.

To the point. I want to make my game stream look much more smooth without impacting my latency/fps in game and i was wondering that what do i need to do in order to play games with my main pc and stream it with my laptop AND to make both computer use DIFFERENT internet connection. The gaming pc would use our main internet cable connection and laptop using my phones 4g connection with 50/15M Down/up. Is that possible to do and if so, what do i need and is it worth it ?

You really should not have a huge issue. 100m down is way more than enough and if you are careful 5m up should be fine also. A game uses very little bandwidth in most cases. It is the upload bandwidth from a stream that likely is causing most issues...along with any voice com you use. You need to watch things like the resource monitor and see how much bandwidth each machine is sending out to the internet.

You can use 2 internet connection and the key command to determining what connection is used is the ROUTE command on your pc. You would put in route commands that tell the computer to send traffic going to certain sites to you secondary router.

In your case it is somewhat more complex because you are talking about a cell phone...

In your case it is somewhat more complex because you are talking about a cell phone based connection. I suppose you could form a wireless connection to the phone hotspot and a wired connection to main router on both machines and then use the route commands.

The more simple way to do this is to use a dual wan router but I don't know of any that can use a cell phone as one of the connection. You can of course get special routers that can use mobile broadband but they don't generally support cellphones they most times use the usb modems.

Yea you are right that i dont have big issues with streaming but will i be able to get better stream quality / bitrates etc if i use 2 internet connections? meaning that if my main internet connection 100/5 would only be used in streaming via my laptop and i would play with my phone internet. So the stream could use all that 5m upload without being burdened via gaming/spotify/chrome etc.
