My parents are currently in America and said they would buy me a gpu if I chipped in, just wondering what you guys would recommend I reckon I have around £250 to spend maybe around the £200 mark ty guys I'm looking myself too
Because in my opinion your choice is between the R9 390 and GTX 970 for this price level, since the FX-8320 and R9 390 would both be heavy on power you have some balance in efficiency with the GTX 970.
Also for the PSU you'd need a good 600w+ for the R9 390, you have to specify this also when you create a thread about which GPU you want.
Any MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte or Asus model with two fans is fine.

The GTX 970 is the card with the best price/performance that actually is DirectX 12 and with high overclock speeds. MSI offers official tools and utilities for they cards and it is, people rating, most reliable.
