Best gpu for my system

My system
MB:asus h97 pro gamer
Cpu: i7 4790k (stock)
Memory: 2x 8gb gskil ripjaws 1600mhz
Storage: 1tb western digital black+ 2tb western digital green
Psu:corsair cx 750w
Gpu: gtx 770 4gb oc
Could i replace the gpu with a 980 or maybe a , pascal **70? What is the best gpu i can get without replacing the psu ? Thx

In theory the 980 is ok but whatever GPU you pair with that PSU doesn't change the bad reputation the CX series has for failure, they can fail under low load. The more expensive your gpu the money you potentially loose should your PSU fail and take out your gpu with it.
