Hello guys,i have amd 740 cpu + CM Hyper 103 cooler i got 50C with this cooler i got 50C even with a stock cooler,i have mini tower case

Lots of questions.

1. How long have you had the system?
2. Has it always been this hot?
3. Is it overclocked in any way?
4. What are all of the parts of the system (Make and model, and power/capacity/speed)?
5. What is your ambient temp (summer in the Outback of Australia, no A/C?)?

Lol,the overdrive seems to be in reverse when im idle it shows higher temperatures than when im doing something
Donkey,im not sure if i understand your question, yes i always have 50C+- on idle so i bought better cooler for better temperatures but its still the same thats my problem

Yes. I am asking if it has always been hot since you had the system, or whether this heat is something new that has occurred only recently.

When you are in idle, other fans may have ramped down too far. Do your CPU voltages drop when you idle, Fan RPM????
What motherboard are you using? some of them can run very hot.

Yeah, cpu voltage drop when im idle and i have manual control on fan in bios (Higher temp rpm increases) and im using Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-S1 it is a mATX type

Idk,its just showing me 40C in bios.....

Then something needs to be changed on you cooler installation. It should be significantly lower. 80C is not safe for AMD CPUs. Take the cooler off carefully and look at the thermal paste between it and the CPU and take a photo of it and post it to this thread. I would expect that the paste needs to be applied differently, or the cooler needed to be seated evenly.
