Specs:
FX-8350
Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
G. Skill 2x4 GB
Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB (removed, hasn't fixed the problem)
MSI R9 270X
EVGA 600B
Windows 8.1

Since I purchased a new motherboard a few weeks ago, I've had an issue with my PC freezing and the HDD LED staying fully lit for anytime from 30 seconds - 10 minutes (depending on how many amd_sata errors I get in a row).

I've left task manager open during these times, and it would show that my SSD usage would go to 100%, but there wouldn't be an application showing that actually used 100%. CPU and RAM usage stayed the same.

Notes:
I am not using RAID
My SSD is set to AHCI in BIOS
My BIOS is up to date
I've tried reinstalling Windows 8.1 and 10
I've tried removing my Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD from the system
I've tried replacing the AMD SATA Controller with the Standard AHCI SATA Controller, but all it does is replace my amd_sata errors in event viewer with disk + storahci errors

Bump.

They stopped for a day but they're back now. This is what my event viewer looks like: http://imgur.com/ZbMYEic The most recent errors (9:45 PM) happened because I force shut down my computer after the computer froze again. I'm not sure why there's no amd_sata errors before that.
