Hello, slight problem with my PC. When I load up my PC for the first time of the day or in for the first time in a few hours and open an application such as Chrome or a game, my monitor 9 times out of 10 goes completely black. Sound continues playing until I move my mouse or press my keyboard which then it seems to completely freeze. When I reset my PC at it's power switch it will load up as normal and work perfectly fine. Does anybody know what the issue could be? Thanks.

It's around 2/3 years old. I have an: Asus crosshair v formula-z mobo, amd radeon r290 GPU and amd piledriver fx-8 eight core 8350 processor.
It's more the fact that it works perfectly fine after a restart and I wont have an issue with it at all until I next turn it on. I've completed numerous malware and virus checks so i'm starting to think that that isnt the issue.
