Hello,

I'm not an expert with computers but I generally know my way around electronics. I recently purchased a Radeon r9 270 oc edition GPU because I realised my GTS 450 was getting a bit dated. My computer operated fine before installing the new GPU, all be it laggy playing games.
I installed the GPU as per the instructions and downloaded the latest driver. My computer now boots and idles normally but as soon as anything graphics intensive is launched (Mad Max game, Project Cars) it can run for a minute or two then it's as if it trips out and does a restart out of the blue and I'm brought to the black and white' 'Start windows normally' screen.
I doubt its temps because I used Kombustor, realtemp and GPU-Z and it restarted as soon as I started the simulation, though I did another less intensive simulation and it didn't restart
The card was stock at this point 955/1400 MHz.

Here are some of my specs;

Windows 7 Enterprise x64-bit OS
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.40 GHz
8.00GB RAM
Alpine 550W PSU with 34A and 534W on the 12V rail
P35 Platinum(MS-7345) motherboard
C drive: 64GB SSD
E drive: 250GB Hard Drive

Thanks in advance for helping me out!

Zak
