what's the difference between gigabytes 290x oc windforce and sapphire Radeon 290x

Im not to familiar with he amd side of gpu's but there both the same base card just with different coolers. performance wise there both pretty similar and from what ive looked up the gigabyte one usually seems to run only 2 or so frames per second faster. temp wise the cards are about the same aswel with only a couple of degrees between them, however , the gigabyte when put through the same stress as the other one has its fans spinning a significant bit faster in order to match the same temp as the sapphire card. so performance and temp seem similar but fan speed is higher on the gigabyte one which leads me to believe that the sapphire one is the better card as you could overclock it significantly more due to its fans being able to cool...

(edit: im assuming you meant the windforce card vs the tri x card)
