I've installed my new GTX 970 and my PC hangs at the motherboard screen a lot long than it did before, I uninstalled my previous graphics card drivers before installing my new card, I then installed the drivers for that, I've heard that resetting my BIOS settings on my motherboard could do the trick through removing the battery for a couple of minutes whilst the PC is off, then placing it back, though I'm not completely comfortable in doing so until I get some feedback.

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H,

I have a 750 Watt PSU Bronze. Bought It in 2012. It's made by a company called Novatech. My previous card, the GTX 560 Ti booted up very quickly. BIOS is also unresponsive on the motherboard screen.

I had already downloaded all the mobo and BIOS drivers from the Gigabyte website on my motherboard page, I did reinstall them.
