Hi i have a specific Wireless USB Adapter from TP-Link TL-WN422G that provides me with desirable results. I need a smaller one so I searched a little and the model TL-WN725N answers these needs. But before I buy please tell me how is the Reception Sensitivity and the Transmit Power of what I currently have compared to what I intend to buy. According to the specifications the adapters are equal but the one I currently have has an external antenna while the other doesn't.
TL-WN422G Specs
TL-WN725N Specs

Thanks

You can't really compare the specs for a 802.11g and 802.11n device.

I will let you dig to find the information you want, many manufacture do not publish the type of information but it is in the data in the test reports required by the FCC

In general the small adapters have much smaller antenna and lower output power. These are designed where the size is more important than the performance. Also they are so small that the case even on a laptop blocks the signal from many directions. They are almost worthless if plug them in the back of a desktop machine with all the metal.
