Vpn to unlock fallout 4 early? steam

Hi , I'm new to pc gaming and was wondering if , I could use a vpn to get ahead of the release time of fallout 4 ..... becuase its 23 hours where i am now from release but only 9 hours in new zeland .... could i use a vpn?

Steam frowns upon the use of VPNs for such use, and games have been subject to region locking to prevent such use. Many people have also been banned following the use of non local VPNs.
