Hello, so I've decided to upgrade my ram to 16 gb (2x8). My mb is ga h61ma d3v so my question is can I add 1866mhz / 1600 mhz ram and somehow overlock it to this value @ bios (because it will run @ 1333mhz by default on this mobo). Mb manual says: Support for ddr3 2200 (oc)/1333/1006/800mhz memory modules (this 2200 oc part is what bothers (confusing) me, because if I cant overclock ram on this mobo I am just gonna keep searching for 1333 mhz 1.5v sticks). Thanks for the help.

You can put any speed of DDR3 ram in the motherboard, it will just automatically downclock to the highest supported speed (since you're using a H61 board, I'm assuming you have a Sandy Bridge CPU), which I believe only supports up to 1333MHz RAM. You can put 1866MHz/1600MHz ram in, but I believe it will only run at 1333MHz
