I currently have Kingston HyperX Genesis 4gb 1600 Mhz RAM and I'm in need of an upgrade. Couldnt find these new RAMs on the list of supported RAMs for the motherboard.

Will it work?

Solution
it's best to find an identical stick to match your Genesis if you plan to keep it, and use dual channel mode.

HX316C9SRK2/8 is a kit of 2x4GB sticks, totaling 8GB RAM running at DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9 @1.5V with XMP. it may or may not run well with your Genesis (you might need to set timings manually in BIOS).

The Genesis stick is tested to run at DDR3-1600 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V (1.65V wont work with the Savage's 1.5V). SPD JEDEC is DDR3-1600 timing of 11-11-11 at 1.5V.

All right thank you, but will the Savage work alone?

Thanks, didnt check from this site. It seems that Fury is compatible and tested, maybe I pick that instead of Savage then. Not much difference.

From paper looks like it should work but I'm unable to tell you for certain, you can check the Kingston site/motherboad QvL.
