So, just recently i started hearing that noise. I'm pretty sure it's the hard drive since it only happends with i load up a game that's on the drive.

It doesn't always make the noise always, just sometimes.

Ive had it for about a year, I'm not sure what the hard drive is called but i think it's a seagate 1tb.

Is this a sound i should be concerned about?

Nothing to panic about, but definitely something to be aware of. All HDDs will make a fair bit of noise. I'd only be concerned if your system starts exhibiting problems or if the sound gets really bad, like abnormally loud sounds or any sounds that don't sound like they should be coming out of a hard drive. In general, most mechanical hard drives will get a bit louder as they age so I wouldn't worry about it too much. One of my secondary drives literally sounds like a cement mixer when it reads or writes, but still works perfectly.

Either way, it is always good to have back ups of important files even if there is nothing wrong with your main disk.

Alright well i'm gonna let it sit in my computer since i don't really have money for a new hard drive. But it could just be worn a bit out since i use my computer 6-9 hours a day.
