Hello! I'm looking to buy a GTX 970 and have a few model in mind, but I don't know which one of the following is the best, looking at component quality as well as overclocking abilities, I was thinking of the ASUS 970 Strix first, but then I saw the ASUS 970 Turbo, Gigabyte 970 G1 and the MSI GTX 970 Gaming, I'd like your opinion as I heard some models would have "hynx" memories which are bad for overclocking?

Gam3r01 made a very good summary of the different 970's:

"EVGA: Superior service, solid quality, decent clock speeds and cooling.
MSI: Great cooling, great OCing, solid service.
ASUS: Very quiet cards
Gigabyte: Highest clock speeds, best OCer, highest failure rate.

My recommendation: MSI Gaming."

Here is a very good article comparing the STRIX vs MSI Gaming vs Gigabyte G1. Overall the Gigabyte G1 is the best performer, but as Gam3r01 mentioned, it has a higher failure rate as well.

I agree with Gam3r01 and would personally choose the MSI, which is a very good balance of performance and reliability.
