Turn an FX-8350 into an FX-6350

Would simply disabling 2 cores (1 module) on the FX-8350 turn it into an FX-6350 if the clock speed is set to 3.9 GHz? It appears the L1, L2 cache sizes per module work out to be the same. And the 8GB L3 cache is shared between modules. Or am I missing something else?

In essence, yes it would although there would be no benefit to it.

Lol... yeah, I know. I'm just doing some benchmark runs and wanted to make some comparisons to the FX-6350 at identical clock speeds.

Disabling the cores for benchmarking purposes should give you essentially the same performance to the 6350.
