I have both Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Apple iPhone 6 Plus at home. Working with mobile terminals for a living, i´d say that the Samsung S6 Plus along with the Note 5 are the fastest phones around and all round the most powerful phone as well.

Apple´s iPhone 6s, is in term of specs far behind, but practically still a really fast phone and shouldn´t be underrated, no matter the anti-fans.

*Rumours of 10-core mobiles coming out of china and other brands are readying theirs.

His budget may have influence in what smartphone he wants to buy, but it certainly doesn´t factor in the question of which smartphone is the most powerful :D

A friend of mine went to China and for 200 dollars got an phone with: Octa core, 20 gb ssd, 32 mpx camera, gorila touch screen and 3 gb of ram and maximum memory 128 gb. I was wondering if there are any other phones than the main contenders.

Octa core | Apple iPhone proves that it isn´t just a matter of number of cores, quality>quantity
20 gb ssd maximum memory & 128 gb. | Sorry I am confused, which is it?
32 mpx camera | the amount of megapixels are not everything, quality of the lens, camera sensor etc is vital too.
gorila touch screen | Gorilla Glass 4? 3? 2? 1?

First off all, I doubt this phone is real. Otherwise provide some proof. China constantly make cheaper smartphones trying to compete with Apple, Samsung, Sony E. etc. However, for 200 USD, you wont get the specs you listed. And everytime I see a cheap "highend" smartphone coming out of China, I am dissapointed by the specs on the phone.
Excellent example is
Xiaomi Redmi 2
2015, August - relative new
Resolution 720 x 1280 pixels (~312 ppi pixel density) ... come on?
Protection Corning Gorilla Glass 2 ... 2012 tech, today we have Corning Gorilla Glass 4
OS Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat) - where is lollipop or dare I ask marshmallow?
list continues...

Ok, budget is from sky to earth not taking it into consideration, what would be the most powerful smart phone as for: battery ( double battery) one to charge other to use, sound quality, video camera, responsive touchscreen for web browsing things like that and very fast battery lifespan and recharge.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus
Its the most powerful allround smartphone you can get today.

- 3000 mAh battery which is almost twice the size of iPhone 6s. It comes with supercharger and wireless charging. That means you can charge faster or more easy.
- Samsung delivers the best screens, as for responsiveness, HTC has the faster responses on their flagship.
- Web browsing, Android is better than iOs, that doesn´t support flash player well.
- Camera is excellent. And the often neglected front camera has been upgraded for better selfies too. Sony Z5 may have a slightly better camera with their relation to carl zeiss.

On a sidenote, the new Microsoft Lumia 950 series is worth a look, mainly because of the continuum feature and the adapterbox. Apparantly you can hook your microsoft smartphone up to box, which can be hooked up to monitor mouse and keyboard, and voila you got a working pc. (almost)

I would advice against them currently. Take OnePlusOne, which was a big hit recently. Even though the phone has an impressive line of specs vs the price, the company suffer from notoriously bad build quality and non-existant support. As a promotion, they made a promotional add, encouraging people to destroy their old smartphone which apparently lead to the opportunity to buy a new OnePlusOne for 1 dollar. The following promotional video revealed, that this was a contest and only select winners would be able to gain the supercheap offer. The result was that more than 100.000 people destroyed their phones and around 100 people got what they expected. This adds up to the fact, that this particular smartphone is sold by "invite-only" - meaning you need an invite to buy the smartphone in the first place. There are tons of other things worthy to note about buying a cheap chinese/taiwanese/indian branded phone but I think you get the picture

At the end, Samsung S6 Plus is still a stronger phone than any other around, even comparing to the chinese "superphones". When you scrape the surface, you´ll more often than not, reveal poor quality components. I.e. a smartphone may hold a 13 mp camera, but they lense they used is crap - light distortion, balance problems or it may be the backdoor programs installed by the mobile company that installs new apps, makes calls, popup adds, all without your approval.

The Answer could be BLUBOO XTOUCH 3GB 4G Smartphone. It’s the most powerful as well as beautifully designed marvel, with 2.5D curves which you don’t find in any other flagship Smartphones.
Whats more Its powered by a latest Mediatek Octacore 64bit MTK6753 processor along with 3gb of ram. Its UI is based Android 5.1 Lollipop, options for other custom Roms also available with other forums.
It sports a 5.0 inch FULL HD 1080P display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Inbuilt memory is 32GB.It has 13.0MP primary and 8.0MP Selfie camera with Sony Camera sensors for HD photos.
It boasts a fastest Fingerprint Recognition of only 0.3 seconds response time, for extended privacy and safety.
For connectivity it supports dual sim global 4g standby, Bluetooth 4.0 and
GPS/A-GPS/Glonass.

The Most important of all these things are the phone osts only 180usd roughly.

I understand quality means money? But what is the real price of the components ? Really as like Dr dre headphones are of such a huge quality I bet there are Asian smartphones cheaper and better made than samsung and apple if you just search for them and review them.

Personally I am looking for a phone with: Long Life battery, possible double one, detachable components easy to repair. Waterproof, responsive touch, easy to browse internet and chit chat online, phone pen stick. I don't really need a camera or a jack for audio I just need a smartphone powerfull and good enough to do all of this. I need a business man's phone. In shorter words.

1) Samsung Galaxy Note Series has around 3000 mAh batteries give or take a couple hundred. The newer versions comes with a supercharger, for superfast charging.
2) No phones are easy to repair, but some of the better ones are Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Note4, which has removable battery and you can open the back of it with a screwdriver
3) Sony Xperia and Samsung Galaxy has waterproof smartphones, none of them have a stylus (pen stick)
4) All highend phones have a good screen with responsive touch. Samsung AMO-LED are generally praised as the best.
5) That´s just preferences, any can do
6) Samsung Galaxy Note series and a couple of LG phones.

Bottomline is, you should get a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
- Powerful phone,
- 3000 mAh battery (+supercharger and you can get extra batteries for it with seperate chargers to it),
- Most vendors can repair it, since Samsung components are readibly available, removable battery and SD card upgrade
- excellent screen
- Browsing is fine on the big 5,7" screen and there´s lots of chat apps for android
- best stylus on a smartphone

not waterproof, but my note 4 went scubadiving and survived and then got dropped in the toilet and survived again (hint, leave it in a bag of uncooked rice with no attached battery asap for 2 days).
It´s also a very serious business phone. The mail system is excellent and the calender function is easy and integrates with your mail.
