Is 70-75c CPU temp (i5 4690) too hot when gaming?

I've got no cables obstructing airflow and the room temp is roughly 30-40c i'd imagine, fans and dust is all fine but i have two massive EVGA GTX 970's SLIing in there and the cooler is a stock one so this is most likely the reason I get these temps.

Is 70-75c fine? my pc doesn't lose any performance and things still run butterly smooth.

Is that on idle or on load? Either way that is little high in temperature. You could probably lower your temperature with Cooler Master 212 Evo.. CM 212 Evo is about $30.

I use i7 5960x and on idle I get 30c and full load around 45-50, but I have liquid cooling. fyi

That temp is perfectly fine for that chip. The better question is, should you be getter cooler temps from your cpu cooler. If you are using the stock cooler, those temps are to be expected. If you are using after market cooling, we need to know what cooler to judge those temps.

It's a bit warmer than I'd like, but it's still just barely safe, and you're not going to get any better temps on the stock cooler if your ambient is 30 to 40 celsius. I personally would get an aftermarket CPU cooler if I were in your shoes just so you would have some headroom if your room got really hot, things get dusty or your GPUs are throwing lots of hot air into your case.
