Yesterday I did something really stupid. I plugged in a fan which I cut the LEDs of into the motherboard whilst the PC was running. My PC turned off and I couldn't fix it. Many people recommend that I replaced the motherboard to which I did. However a new problem occurred.
When turning the PC on though the button, All the fans spin for 1/2 second then everything stops. Spent a couple hours trying to find the problem and turns out that everything except the GPU, works fine when the CPU 8 pin is disconnected from the motherboard. Am I right in thinking this is a problem with the PSU?
