want to upgrade pc... need help whether compatible or not. HELP!

I used PC part picker for my build

but it says Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. Will my build still work or do I need a new cpu or motherboard?

Unless the mobo has been on a shelf for a year or more it should be updated for the FX CPU

Your board will still work, but as it says you may need to update the BIOS to it. to go along with what Tradesman said, it should be compatible out of the box unless it is an older model board.
