What is the best graphics card I can get for $50 or less (Old, Used, or New)

I know I won't get anything amazing but I have a media center in the works. What is the best graphics card I could grab for under $50? I plan on shopping on eBay and it needs to be working with a 400W PSU. What is the best performance I could get for $50 or less? I was considering a GT 640 but I think I could do better if I find an older card.

try the 1/2gb GT610 from Gigabyte, the one with the silver heat sink. def not for gaming but i think it will do well with a HTPC. it *might* be a little over budget but for a HTPC its worth it. its old, not great gaming graphics but its all you need

avoid the gt 610, its hopeless.

See if you can grab a used gtx 460/ 650 ti / 6850

People still game on HTPCs, and the GT610 is useless.

For a media PC you don't need an add-on video card, will just add to heat and power use and limit you in case size. Get a motherboard with onboard HDMI and just use that. Any modern CPU and integrated video ship can run HD video easily.

If you're still looking for graphics card I have a gt 640 that runs fine that I could sell. Only after I get my current 980ti working tho
