my cousin gave me a
Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model KVR1333D3S8N9/2G,
is this compatible with my EMAXX 4GB DDR3 1333 MEMORY and with my MOBO.

Thanks a million.

my rig:
OS win7 64bit
Pentium G630
ASUS P8 H61-M LX3 plus r2.0
NVIDIA GT620 1GB
electron atx 600 watts

Solution
Ideally, all DIMM's in a system should be the same brand and model. However most importantly is that they are at least the same speed latency.

If they have different voltages/speed etc, they may still work, but would usually clock down to the lowest score. This also can also cause instability if you don´t manually set it up in bios correctly.

Wouldn't recommend it really. While they are both the same speed and voltage DDR3 memory, I cant find cant find the timings for the EMAXX so there's no telling if they match up with the Kingston or not. Mixing and matching even same manufacture/spec but from different production runs can potentially cause problems, doing it between different manufactures and different specs can result in just so many problems. I'd say its not worth the headache.

If you still have warranty for your rams, just contact support and get them repaired or replaced.
If no warranty, you can try bake them in the oven.

You need to preheat the oven to 150-160 Celcius
Wrap the stick in foil paper and make sure you’ll fold the flaps on the upward.
Put the stick in the oven and let it cook for 5 minutes, no more or less.
Take it out and let it cool, and try the stick in your pc again.

Easier trick with lower succesrate is just to freeze the ram stick in the freezer overnight, 50% of the time it will revive your ram as well.
