Is Corsair CX500M good for this build?

500w is pushing it with that system, a REALLY REALLY good one like a Seasonic I would say OK, however the CX500M is a bad idea all around and especially in a system like that. Do not buy a Corsair CX series.
For that system I would say the minimum to get would be the XFX TS 550w or Seasonic S12 520w.

When will people stop overestimating PSU requirements.
A good 500W PSU will power that system just fine. You are looking at around 350 to 375 watts during Synthetic Stress testing.
And you are looking at 250-300 W maximum during heavy gaming. This falls pretty good in the 50% load for a real 500-550 W PSU.
Now the fact that a PSU says it is 500W does not necessary mean it is true 500W on the 12v rail. A lot of PSUs say the combined wattage of 3.3 and 5 and 12 volt rails to be 500 - while in reality they provide under 400.
As far as CX goes - stay away from it. It has Chinese caps and dies rather quickly. Corsair CX and VS has nothing to do with the other quality PSUs they are providing.

For the wattage, I tried to build the system in PcPartPicker but there aren't any 380X listed yet, so I used a 390 since I couldn't find the power requirement in a quick search online. *
Using the 390 with your other named components, PCPP shows 469W so the 500W MAY be OK. For power supplies, the absolute minimum that I'd recommend is the PCPP wattage * 1.15 then rounded up to the next half century. In this case, see if you can afford a better quality 550W.
(* Looking a bit further, the 390 and 390X seem to have the same power rating of 275W. If this is similar to the 380 and 380X, then that would be about 190W, saving about 85 watts. If this is true, it would bring the system draw to 384W, so a 500W would be a safe bet at a bare minimum.)

Those PCPP and whatever calculators almoust double their estimate to take into account consumers that buy Diablotek and whatever other junk.
4960X @ 4.2GHz with 280x registers 360 W during stress test and 310 at intensive gaming with the lower clocked 280x (but still higher than stock).
The 3.3 GHz FX consumes a lot less than the overclocked 2011 platform. He will not see usage over 300W unless he clocks and puts a ton of synthetic benches.

All we have is computer shops
They sell products which is twice the price of the ones u find in ebay

That happens a lot here but in this case you do want to have some headroom. My system with 1 R9 280 pulled 400w from the wall during a stress test. He has an FX processor and a 280X, both of which draw more power. a GOOD 500w PSU would be ok, a crappy one such as the CX500 would fall flat on its face being driven that close to its max. The reality is its good to have a buffer, to account for the fact PSU's degrade as well. He doesn't need a 750, but a good 500-550 or even 650 if he gets a deal won't hurt.
