So i am building a low budget gaming pc and i initially thought of getting an AMD FX 6300 and a Nvidia GT 730 but i am now in doubt. Should i get a cheaper less powerful cpu so i can invest that money in buying an AMD R7 250 instead. Here's GpuBoss comparison of a GT 730 vs R7 250.

http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R7-250-vs-GeForce-GT-730

Oh and if it matters i will be playing at a resolution of 1366 x 768 and needless to say i prefer fps over quality.

Solution
Yes, getting a fx 6300 over a fx 4300 would increase your fps if you were using the same graphics card in each build. However, the R7 250x is so much more powerful than the gt 730 that by using it you will see a much bigger fps gain than by getting a cpu with two more cores.

i did now that u mentioned it cpuboss declares no winner and is considerably cheaper than fx 6300 enough to even let me buy a hd 7770. But then i got confused again exoc version of gt 730 says it supports a max resolution of 4096 X 2160 and sapphire HD 7770 says it supports a max resolution of 2560 x 1600. What to do which one should i buy normally an hd 7770 is better than a r7 250 which is better than a gt 730 but this is making things confusing for me.
Can you please check these links and give me a recommendation

Oh and sorry if its not in your currency.

One last question. I checked the fps difference with fx 6300 and fx 4300 and its around 5 fps more with fx 6300 but now that dx12 has much much better support for multi core cpu that gain in fps might increase a lot. So should i get a fx 6300 and stick with gt 730 or get a fx 4300 and buy an AMD R7 250x (change in plans the hd 7770 is much more expensive than what gpuboss said) and please answer by keeping directx 12 in mind. Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer.
